The Fourth Meeting of the Kyiv Region Volunteer Council

Recently, the fourth meeting of the Kyiv Region Volunteer Council took place, with the participation of our foundation’s director, Alyona Nazarenko, who also serves as the Council’s secretary 💙💛
💬 In her speech, Alyona emphasized the importance of the youth volunteer movement, which is now receiving support even at the level of the President of Ukraine.
Notably, a law has already been adopted allowing students to count their volunteer practice in public and charitable organizations as part of their official internship.
📌 The meeting featured several important speeches and presentations:
– Welcome remarks from the Council leadership
– A speech by the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House (Andriy Marushchak)
– Presentation of the youth hub by the Blagomay Charitable Foundation
– Presentation of the NGO “Ukraine is Us”
– Discussion on first aid training courses (MCCR “Resources”)
– A report from the International Charitable Foundation “All of Ours”
– A presentation by the AURUM Rehabilitation Academy on working with youth
💡 Key topics discussed during the event included the development of youth initiatives, inclusion and accessibility, the importance of first aid skills, and the role of volunteering in driving systemic changes within communities.
🌱 This is a step toward a new culture of conscious youth — one that doesn’t remain on the sidelines but actively takes part in shaping society.
We are proud to be part of this community!
Together, we’re building the future 💪🇺🇦
